BRI and Analog Connectivity for Dialogic® Host Media Processing Software Release 3.0 for Windows

Dialogic® Diva® BRI and Dialogic® Diva® Analog boards using Dialogic® Diva® SIPcontrolTM Software Release 1.5 are now supported with Dialogic® Host Media Processing (HMP) Software Release 3.0 for Windows. This product solution is a perfect compliment to the existing Dialogic® DNI board series, which did not have an analog or BRI PSTN interface offering.
Customers who wish to build a TDM/IP hybrid system using Dialogic HMP software can now have connectivity to the BRI and analog PSTN network. In addition, two new HMP BRI bundles are available for customers to order. The new SKUs are a combination of a Dialogic Diva BRI boards and Dialogic HMP software licenses., the details are listed in the table below.

Dialogic Diva SIPcontrol software is designed to enable developers to integrate Dialogic Diva BRI and Analog boards with Dialogic HMP software release 3.0 for Windows. This allows applications written to Dialogic HMP software to be enhanced with BRI and Analog connectivity for a hybrid TDM/IP environment. The combination of Diva SIPcontrol software and Dialogic® Diva® boards creates a BRI or Analog to SIP gateway subsystem that can be integrated into a server running an HMP application. This approach allows Dialogic HMP software and Dialogic Diva boards to communicate via the open and standards-based SIP protocol. Call control information on the Dialogic Diva board is translated into SIP messages, and voice channels are converted into IP packets and streamed via the RTP protocol into the HMP environment. With a fax call, the DSP resources of Dialogic Diva boards terminate the TDM fax call and process V.34 fax modulation up to 33.6 kbps. As a result, fax information is relayed over IP using the industry-standard T.38 protocol. Diva SIPcontrol software also provides echo cancellation (EC) with up to 128 ms tail length and supports DTMF collection/generation via the DSP resources of the Dialogic Diva board.
